Light Sheet Microscopy

Photon Lines has been a key supplier to developers of Lightsheet Microscopes since their conception, having benefited from the large market share already owned by their supplier Omicron Laserage. Omicron developed their famous “LightHUB” laser combiner in response to the demands of the early developers of the technique, where the quality of the focused spot was of prime importance, although this is not immediately achievable from laser diodes, which are inherently elliptical. This unfortunate property results in the unprocessed focus being astigmatic and unusable without applying proprietary techniques. Omicron’s highly skilled engineers and over 30 years experience have made them experts in getting the highest achievable performance from their products for this and other demanding applications.
