Description
The Pika NIR-320 is Resonon’s most affordable and fastest near-infrared (NIR) hyperspectral camera. The Pika NIR-320 covers the 900 – 1700 nm spectral range with a 4.9 nm resolution. It is capable of high speeds (520 fps) and has excellent image quality.
The Pika NIR-320 is an inexpensive option for researchers who need near-infrared hyperspectral imaging data. To suit you requirements, the Pika NIR-320 is also available as part of our laboratory benchtop system, outdoor system, and airborne remote sensing system. If very high precision data is required then the Pika NIR-640 is recommended.
All Resonon hyperspectral cameras, including the Pika NIR-320, use a pushbroom (i.e. line-scan) approach to imaging. In line-scan imaging, the camera images the object one line at a time. The camera then scans over the object, or vice versa, and collects lots of lines of images to create a two-dimensional image of the object.
