Constantly increasing frame rates at higher resolutions generate high and increasing data rates in the cameras, which must be processed in real time. For this purpose, the entire image processing system with camera, interface, cable and image processing computer has to be designed with the appropriate performance. Our partners Mikrotron and See Fast Technologies have now made it possible to achieve much of the image processing directly in the camera head, thus enabling customers to develop new, compact and customised solutions in a wide range of applications.
