Photon Lines Ltd are pleased to announce that we have been appointed official distributor in the UK and Ireland for Holotomography technologists, Tomocube.
Tomocube offer an entirely different approach to characterisation of living cell samples with their Holotomography method. Using low power incoherent sources to quantify differences in the refractive index of biological samples, the system enables 3D cell morphology to be visualised with no fluorescent dyes or labels, achieving a lateral spatial resolution of 150nm. The gentle illumination utilised has the additional benefit that living samples are not damaged by the measurement being made, allowing imaging to be carried out for many hours or days.
We are thrilled to be able to offer unrivalled service when it comes to the supply of Tomocube products within the UK and Ireland. If you have a requirement, please contact us for full details. We can also answer any questions on this line of products so contact us for technical advice and help deciding which product is right for your application.
Tomocube quantitative phase measurement systems provide for label-free cell imaging at lateral resolutions below the diffraction limit, enabling detailed insights into cellular composition to be made over extended time periods.
A key strength of Tomocube lies in its comprehensive in-house capabilities spanning hardware, software, firmware, mechanical design, optics design, and AI development for their Holotomography imaging and analysis solution. This wide ranging expertise facilitates integration and innovation in their products.
The Tomocube product range includes the first generation HT-2H, employing diffraction tomography to deliver measurements with nanoscale precision. The resulting 3D distribution map of the refractive index of biological specimens provides researchers with essential insights into various cellular and subcellular organelle characteristics, such as volume, shape, cytoplasmic density, surface area, or deformability.
Tomocube’s second-generation Holotomography, the Tomocube HT-X1, employs low-coherence light sources, ensuring lower toxicity and noise-free high-resolution image acquisition compared to laser-based methods. We are currently showing Tomocube’s second-generation Holotomography system, the Tomocube HT-X1 around the UK.
