IDEA Bio-Medical – New Supplier

Photon Lines Ltd are pleased to announce that we have been appointed official distributor in the UK and Ireland for IDEA Bio-medical, a pioneer in high-content imaging technology aiming to deliver automated imaging solutions to the international scientific community.

The IDEA Bio-medical product range expands our capabilities into the high content fluorescence imaging sector, with their HERMES product offering a unique approach to sample scanning that ensures vibration free movement when moving between different sample areas. This makes it ideal for situations where monitoring of loosely tethered samples is required, such as developing organoids or Zebrafish embryos.

The IDEA Bio-medical system can be supplied either as a compact automated benchtop imager or a standalone unit complete with sample incubation and robotic plate loading system. The system is supplied with their Athena acquisition and analysis package which supports a wide range of 3D and 2D fluorescence imaging applications from cells and monolayers to spheroids and Zebrafish.
